Yoga Teacher Training Taster

Not sure if the whole teacher training is for you but want to upskill and deepen your understanding of trauma-informed yoga? Join us for the 50hr module over 6 weeks as a taster. Perfect for those working in mental health or education that want to get a good foundation of accessible and practical skills that translate into body-based, somatic, and breath work practices. This is a small group training to ensure individualised learning. This innovative training is facilitated by Kylie Hennessy, a highly experienced senior yoga teacher, certified yoga therapist, and educator. The trauma-informed principles are embedded into her practice. We will cover: - yoga foundations > history, philosophy, and science of yoga - yogic frameworks of health and wellbeing - mind-body connection - a dive into the 8 limbs of yoga such as: > yamas and niyamas (often seen as moral and ethical observances for a peaceful mind) > pranayama (breath work) > asana (body movements and postures) > mindfulness, attention, focusing, and meditation techniques > yoga nidra and relaxation techniques Format and offerings: - 3 Face-to-face in-person learning lab Saturday 10-3 pm - 3 Live and online evening Tues (1.5hrs) Zoom tutorial (recording available) - Self-paced online learning material - Online recorded classes $995 or $895 Early bird pay upfront one month before the start date (Aug 16th, 2023)

Cancellation Policy

1. Classes and courses - fees are non-refundable. Fees may be transferable at my discretion. 2. Appointments - cancel or reschedule please give 48 hrs notice or the full fee will be charged. 3. Retreats fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the retreat and 50% refundable 30 days plus of the retreat. 4. Trainings are non-refundable within 30 days of training and 50% refundable 30 days plus of the start date. Training may be transferred to future trainings if available within the year.
